About The Position

Role Summary/Purpose: The VP, Digital – Verizon and Cobrand will lead financial responsibilities for the Verizon and Cobrand portfolios, part of Synchrony’s Digital platform. The role reports directly to the CFO of Digital and supports the General Managers of the Verizon and Cobrand portfolios. Our Way of Working We’re proud to offer you flexibility. Occasionally you may be required to commute or travel for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities: As part of the Verizon & Cobrand portfolios’ leadership team, drive growth initiatives, evaluate investment decisions and influence strategy to ensure portfolio profitability Lead a team of finance COE employees dedicated to financial support and analysis of the Verizon & Cobrand portfolios Understand key contractual requirements and ensure that we are delivering on those obligations Provide financial leadership including ensuring the development of key processes and financial analytics over the portfolio Analyze key trends and indicators of performance for the consolidated portfolio Drive financial planning process across Verizon and Cobrand Work cross functionally to drive key client initiatives Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or in lieu of degree, 10 years equivalent experience Minimum of 7+ years of finance experience Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required Desired Characteristics: Demonstrated track record of execution, technical finance skills, and communication Strong analytical and process skills, experience with financial models, and experience leveraging data to drive meaningful results Proven leadership abilities and the ability to lead/engage on cross-functional projects Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and to develop a clear, concise message both internally and externally Passionate, proactive, responsible, resourceful, detail-oriented, hard-working, willingness to learn Grade/Level: 14 The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle. Eligibility Requirements: You must be 18 years or older You must have a high school diploma or equivalent You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations). Requirements
