About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Clinical Services to lead the clinical and census turnaround of a skilled nursing facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role for a proven clinical operator who can stabilize compliance, rebuild clinical credibility, and directly influence census growth through improved outcomes. This role carries full clinical authority at the facility level and works in close partnership with other executives and ownership. As the organization stabilizes and grows, this position is expected to expand into multi-facility oversight and ability to step in when needed.

Requirements

Active RN license (PA required or ability to obtain)
7+ years of clinical leadership experience in Skilled Nursing preferred
Deep knowledge of PA and CMS regulations, survey process, and compliance standards
Decisive, visible, hands-on leadership style
Comfortable being on-site during stabilization and growth phases

Responsibilities

Lead the clinical stabilization and regulatory recovery of a turnaround SNF
Drive survey readiness, deficiency correction, and sustained compliance
Own QAPI, infection control, risk management, and adverse event reduction
Oversight of DON, MDS, Infection Prevention, and QA teams
Identify and correct root causes of survey risk, rehospitalizations, infections, and quality failures
Directly support census growth by improving: Clinical outcomes and length-of-stay management Hospital and referral-source confidence
Build and execute high-acuity staff training programs to expand the facility’s clinical capability, remove admission barriers, and support the safe acceptance of higher-complexity residents
