Job Description Summary The VP, Chief Medical Affairs (CMA) at Henry Ford Health (HFH) provides strategic leadership in the development of a physician strategy to support the The VP, Chief Medical Affairs (CMA) at Henry Ford Health (HFH) provides strategic leadership in the development of a physician strategy to support the HFH Rehabilitation Service Line. The VP and CMA will lead on all aspects of physician recruitment, oversight of physician performance and medical practice quality indicators, and operational oversight for all physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) practicing across the HFH system of care, serving as the highest-ranking leader representing Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (SRAlab) at HFH. The CMA will oversee physician and APP coverage, ensure seamless coordination of care across HFH sites, and advocate for academic, scientific, and professional excellence in rehabilitation services, including the development of a HFH Department of PM&R. The CMA at HFH reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer (SVP, CCO) of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and has a reporting relationship to the HFH Oversight Committee. This position will collaborate with the Associate Vice President overseeing Rehabilitation Services at HFH to co-manage the operations team, ensuring efficient coordination and high-quality service delivery. It expected that the CMA will maintain an active clinical practice, with a 0.4 FTE time allocation devoted to administrative responsibiltiies.
