The Role We are seeking a visionary, execution-oriented VP, Business Architecture to own how TicketManager’s business is architected and operationalized across systems, data, and workflows. Acting in a capacity similar to an Information Officer, this role is responsible for designing and evolving the company’s enterprise operating model, ensuring that core business processes (from sales and ticket fulfillment to billing, reporting, and support) are intentionally supported by scalable systems and clean integrations. As the single point of accountability for enterprise systems architecture and integration strategy, this leader will partner with Product, Engineering, Revenue, Operations, and People teams to translate business strategy into system designs, integration priorities, and executable roadmaps. A core mandate of this role is to embed AI and automation directly into TicketManager’s operating model, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, data quality, and speed of execution. This is not a traditional IT role; success will be measured by how effectively systems enable the business to scale. This role is In-Office, Monday-Friday

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, Business Systems, or Enterprise Architecture with demonstrated ownership of cross-functional outcomes.

  • AI Fluency: Proven track record of implementing AI/ML solutions in a business context (not just theoretical knowledge) including experience with LLMs, automation platforms (Zapier/Make), or custom AI agents.
  • Change Management: Exceptional ability to work across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels to adopt new technologies and workflows.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to see the "big picture" of how a business operates and translate that into a technical roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the target-state enterprise systems and integration architecture, reducing redundancy and technical debt while supporting scalable growth.
  • Own enterprise business capability maps and core value streams to ensure systems and integrations support how the business operates.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards and integration patterns (APIs, data models, workflows) to guide system design and interoperability.
  • AI Strategy & Implementation: Partner with Product, Technology, Revenue, Marketing, and People Operations to identify workflows and decisions where AI and automation drive measurable impact.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and operationalize emerging AI solutions, translating experimentation into clear implementation or deprecation decisions.
  • Own end-to-end AI implementation, including requirements, system integration, change management, adoption, and ROI measurement.
  • Define AI governance, data requirements, and system dependencies to ensure AI is embedded into core platforms and workflows (not deployed as standalone tools).
  • Operational Efficiency: Work directly with department leaders to ensure process or system improvements in one function are supported across upstream and downstream systems.
  • Define and track operational metrics tied to cycle time, data quality, speed-to-market, and employee productivity.
  • Define systems of record, data ownership, and data governance standards to ensure consistency across reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
  • Own prioritization and sequencing of cross-functional systems and process initiatives based on business impact and dependencies.
  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a senior advisor to the executive team on how enterprise architecture and systems decisions enable business strategy and growth.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-impact team of business architects, systems architects, and AI/automation specialists.
  • Establish and lead architecture governance forums with decision authority over system, integration, and data architecture choices.
  • Lead enterprise platform and vendor strategy, including evaluation, selection, consolidation, and rationalization in partnership with Finance and Engineering.
