About The Position

The VP Architect will lead the architectural vision and technical strategy for our mortgage servicing platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet business objectives.

Requirements

10+ years of software development experience with progressive technical leadership
5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.)
Strong background in mortgage servicing systems and workflows
Experience designing and implementing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business and technology teams
AWS Solutions Architect certification
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in mortgage servicing
Experience with data architecture and analytics platforms

Responsibilities

Define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy for mortgage servicing systems
Lead design and implementation of cloud-native solutions on AWS
Partner closely with the servicing team to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
Mentor and guide development teams on architecture patterns and cloud technologies
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve platform capabilities
