The VP, Amazon Strategy & Brand Development will lead the company's Amazon business within the Sales and Marketing organization, driving brand growth, consumer engagement, and continuing to drive sales velocity for Prestige Consumer Healthcare on Amazon's platform. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing a holistic Amazon strategy that integrates brand-building, digital marketing, content, and eCommerce best practices, driving the right digital tactics to win with consumers. The role will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Innovation to maximize performance and ensure brand execution consistency across Prestige's portfolio. In addition to leading the Amazon business for Prestige, this executive will also contribute to eCommerce strategy with other Prestige retail partners. The role is viewed as a key talent in the Sales & Marketing organization with succession ability over time. Finally, this executive will have full responsibility for the Amazon P&L

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in marketing, eCommerce, or digital strategy, with significant Amazon channel expertise.
  • Proven track record of building brands and driving growth on Amazon.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon's advertising, analytics, and content management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing teams and budgets in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Is an agile learner - is comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity; has a solutions-focused mindset and is highly curious.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Brings contemporary business acumen - understands the external environment and continuously adapts framework for solving for changing business dynamics with the evolving market and new technologies.
  • Experience in CPG, retail, or consumer healthcare preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Amazon channel strategy, aligning with overall brand and marketing objectives.
  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities on Amazon.
  • Oversee Amazon advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP) and optimize both brand awareness and sales growth.
  • Manage content strategy, including product detail pages, A+ content, and user-generated content to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Drive demand creation through digital levers including social, search/display media, and site merchandising.
  • Monitor and analyze Amazon performance metrics, consumer insights, and competitive trends; report findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead and Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain readiness, pricing strategy, and inventory management for Amazon.
  • Champion brand protection initiatives, including Authorized Seller programs and Brand Registry.
  • Drive innovation in digital marketing and eCommerce, piloting new tools and approaches to enhance the Amazon consumer experience.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team focused on Amazon marketing, analytics, and content.
  • Represent the Amazon business and the digital commerce strategy in executive meetings, providing strategic guidance and updates.
