The Role The Vice President, Advanced Planning is a client-facing role that serves as a financial planning and estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors. Depending on our client’s needs, the Advanced Planner can deliver point-in-time estate planning guidance and education or lead a more comprehensive financial and estate planning engagement. In addition, the role is supported by a Director, Advance Planning and an Advanced Planning Analyst, and together as a team will support advanced planning client engagements throughout a geographic region. We primarily use video technology to function remotely in addition to meeting clients and advisors in investor centers across the region. We also collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person to maintain and increase our collective impact on the clients we serve. Travel is typically expected between 5% and 20% of the time, depending on physical proximity to regional sites and investor centers. The role is remote but does requires residing within commuting distance to an Investor Center or Regional Center in state of California. The Team We are part of the Advanced Planning Leadership Development team collaborating with Fidelity’s advisors and their high-net-worth clients to provide a comprehensive financial planning experience that is tailored to each client’s unique financial goals and family dynamics
