Volunteer - Winter and Weather Response Shelter
About The Position
Aspire Indiana Health is looking for reliable and passionate volunteers to assist with the Winter Contingency/Weather Response Shelters which will operate December 1st , 2025 - March 31st, 2026. The ideal volunteer is a proactive and empathetic individual with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. As a volunteer, you will be assisting Aspire staff with the following tasks: Food preparation and service Organizing and tracking donations Orientating new residents to the shelter Assisting with activities for the families (including children) staying in the shelter Providing administrative support This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, develop new skills, and connect with like-minded people dedicated to making a difference. Please note: All volunteers will be required to pass a background check and drug screen. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and is not considered employment with Aspire Indiana Health.
