About The Position

The Volunteer Training and Recruitment Coordinator helps the program meet grant goals, objectives, and outcomes related to volunteer training and recruitment as outlined in the VOCA Grant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor required
  • Strong computer skills (knowledge of or demonstrated ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, Optima, Quest, and Canva) required
  • Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience with event planning, social media platforms and website management preferred
  • Experience providing education for adult learners preferred
  • Knowledge of CASA and the Allen Superior Court CHINS process preferred

Responsibilities

  • Represent the CASA Program at volunteer recruitment events to convey the mission of the program and to recruit volunteer advocates
  • Assist with the development and implementation of public relations and marketing strategies
  • Assist with the posting of CASA events and information on the website and social media
  • Write press releases to promote the CASA Program
  • Develop print materials, graphics, and visuals for presentations that conform to the brand standards of the program and National CASA
  • Screen and interview potential volunteer advocates
  • Maintain data for grant reporting
  • Document all relevant volunteer information into Optima, CASA’s case management system
  • Assist with pre-service and in-service training for volunteer advocates as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
