About the Position: The Volunteer Trail Host patrols the Riverfront Trail System and helps the City of Grand Junction keep the trails safe and friendly for all users while benefitting from being active outdoors! This program runs from March through October, and we will hold outdoor bi-monthly meetings/trainings on the first Wednesday of the month in March, May, July, and September from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. This position is without monetary compensation. Trail Hosts serve as friendly community ambassadors providing support, information, and observation of the trails. Hosts reap physical fitness benefits as well as community pride.
