About The Position

Provo City is looking for a Volunteer Services Coordinator to provide entry-level professional work responsible for coordinating the Provo Parks volunteer program. Civic-minded individuals interested in supporting the numerous services provided to the residents of Provo City are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or other related field.
• A valid, lawful Driver License.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteers.
• Identify tasks and projects within the department that can be performed by volunteers.
• Organize, supervise, and work with volunteer groups and City staff to complete projects.
• Perform varied project-related tasks at city park sites and other grounds
• May perform some office duties to receive and coordinate requests for Eagle Scout projects and other service groups.
• Assist department staff as needed and perform other related duties as required.
