About The Position
To help keep up with donations and holiday needs such as visits and internal needs that arise.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills/ dealing with visitors and donors
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others
- 1 year retail or similar
Responsibilities
- Accept donations as donors pull into the circle in front of Koppel Plaza
- Accept donations brought into Volunteer Services office
- Sort and organize donations
- Distribute items as needed to hospital departments
- Collaborate with hospital staff and volunteers to keep a smooth flow of activity
- Office skills - assist with answering calls, some correspondence
- Assist with hospital visits during the holidays
- Assist with Tiny Trees Program
- Cover gaps in vital areas (ex. Information desk, surgery lounge) when volunteers are absent due to holiday commitments
