Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed. Patrols precinct to deter crime. Assists public within scope of authority. Secures and preserves crime scenes. May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Basic TCOLE certification.
  • One-year job experience or two years of college (60 Credit Hours).
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public.
  • Valid Texas drivers license.
  • Firearms proficiency.
