The Volunteer Manager is a key part of the advancement team at New Life Center, working collaboratively to advance the mission to serve people experiencing homelessness. Reporting to the Advancement Director, this role is responsible for carrying out the organization's volunteer engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies. The position also plays a supporting role in New Life Center's events and generates awareness for the Mission and those served. It requires a self-starter with a collaborative attitude and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Formal public speaking experience and excellent skills in building strong relationships with diverse groups of people are a must. At New Life Center, the work is grounded in its Christian mission and values. Each role contributes to the ministry and operations of the organization.
