The Volunteer & Intern Coordinator recruits, trains, and manages volunteers, interns & work studies to best support refugee and immigrant populations served by the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and has close cooperation with the IRC Leadership Team. The coordinator is responsible for being the liaison between Colleges and Universities, the Local Workforce Center, Community Partners, IRC staff/clients and volunteers. This person must be able to assess fluctuating needs of the IRC and clients and be able to find ways for these needs to be filled utilizing volunteer support. The Coordinator will also work closely with IRC Leadership to coordinate and host events for community engagement and community partners. Some events may require evening or weekend hours. While the majority of hours will be onsite and at partner locations, a small number of hours may allow for remote flexibility.
