Performs administrative support duties specific to office assigned. Organizes data received for accurate entry and efficient reporting in a timely manner. Recruits, trains, and retains volunteers to support the mission of Ohio’s Hospice. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather
  • Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
  • Strong organizational skills, communication skills and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintains daily volunteer records and volunteer data in Volgistics.
  • Manages the onboarding process for prospective volunteers.
  • Coordinates referrals and inquiries regarding becoming a hospice volunteer.
  • Manages volunteers' annual renewal requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Fills volunteer requests for patients in a timely manner as evidenced by completed tasks in the Electronic Medical Records to serve the needs of patients and families.
