The Volunteer Coordinator is an integral member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), responsible for coordinating and sustaining a strong hospice volunteer program that supports high‑quality patient care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, builds rapport easily, communicates effectively, and is highly organized. Comfort discussing topics related to death and dying is essential. Schedule & Hours Part‑time, 20 hours per week Day shift Includes every Saturday and Sunday Remaining weekday hours are flexible at time of hire, then transition to a set, consistent schedule Position Summary The Volunteer Coordinator oversees the recruitment, training, placement, and ongoing support of hospice volunteers for Home Health and Hospice. This role serves as a vital link between volunteers, hospice staff, patients, families, and the broader community.
