Requirements

  • Two years of Secretarial Experience

Responsibilities

  • Answers phones and responds to inquiries regarding volunteer program. Takes messages as needed
  • Assists with recruitment of volunteers by sending out materials and forms as requested. Maintains an accurate and up-to-date data base to include number of hours served, TB screening, birthdays, etc.
  • Maintains accurate and current database of volunteer information, to include hours served, TB screening, birthdays and special courses needed for hospice certification.
  • In the absence of the Director, acts as a resource for volunteers and may need to secure a replacement for a volunteer who is unable to work.
  • Accomplishes requested typing, filing, copying faxing as requested.
  • Prepares handouts and materials for training, meetings, etc. as requested.
  • Assures supplies and materials are available as needed for programs and day-to-day activities.
  • Prepares monthly statistical reports as requested by Director. Prepares bulk mail as needed
