The Voice Electronic Technician installs, tests, repairs, fire stop, and maintains unified power systems, converters (DC to AC or vice versa), battery plant, amplifiers, mixers, cable rack fabrication, spacing and installation, radio antenna and grounding, build and install cable harnesses. Applications may include analog, digital, and/or video circuits and logic systems. The Electronic Technician will normally be assigned in areas such as development, engineering, test equipment, system checkout, fabrication, and the like. The chosen candidate will work on all voice systems at Kennedy Space Center including OIS-M, OIS-Q2, PAWS, and Radios. This is a represented staff position with the IBEW Union.
