Vocational Specialist Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Service Field, Business or related field required. Masters degree preferred. One to two years of job development, Talent Acquisition, training specialist or case management experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibility · Participates as a contributing full member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Works in collaboration with Team Leader/LPHA on clinical needs of assigned caseload. · Provides PROS members with employment counseling, advocating services, benefit counseling (Social Services, Social Security, Medicaid). · Performs job development and career development activities based on the needs of PROS members. Completes quarterly State required reports. · Develop/facilitate class curriculum for skill building classes. · Provide CRS, IR, Clinical Symptom Monitoring and ORS interventions as outlined in PROS participant IRP. Symptom monitoring services will be reviewed and co-signed by MD/RN. Services may be provided individually or in groups · Facilitates assessments and individual recovery plans (IRP’s) development with PROS participants. Provides vocational assessments, psychiatric rehabilitation assessments. Participants on assigned caseload have clearly defined recovery goals (i.e., employment). · Documentation is completed within designated timeframes. · Uses recovery and person centered approaches, including person first language when working with consumers and families. Provides ongoing support for participants for goal acquisition (i.e., employment). · Participates fully in Quality Improvement activities within the PROS program and department. Collaborates and communicates with primary care providers and multidisciplinary team as appropriate and documents contacts in participant’s record. · Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and education into practice. Promotes and demonstrates good communication and team work through participation in daily staff meetings, case conferences and team meetings. · Demonstrates safe driving practices in accordance with Rochester Regional Health’s driver policy. · Job Development Activities Include: o Network Through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees o Locate and document employers with whom relationships have been established in hiring PROS participants. o Communicate with team members and PROS Participants regularly to share lead, opportunities, and new relationships with employers. o Create contacts within industry. Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings. o Maintain regular contact with possible future employers. o Represent RRH and PROS in a positive manner. o Develop working relationships with external parties to aid in job development activities. PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $29.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14607 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
