Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with VMware vCloud Foundation, vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud computing, and modern data center architecture.
  • Experience using automation frameworks such as PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Solid knowledge of networking, storage engineering, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with VMware VKS (vSphere Kubernetes Service) and VMware Private AI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support pre‑sales engineering efforts for VMware vCloud Foundation (VCF) environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather business requirements and architect effective VMware‑based solutions.
  • Optimize and maintain VCF environments; perform troubleshooting to ensure reliability, security, and strong performance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VCF architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Leverage automation tools such as PowerCLI, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Provide advanced technical guidance and support to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Stay up to date on VMware technologies, emerging tools, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in disaster recovery strategy, planning, validation, and testing.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers on VMware technologies, architecture, and operational best practices.
