Position Summary: The VMI Trainee serves as a vital support role within the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) team, preparing for a future position as a VMI Specialist by engaging in daily operations and learning the intricacies of inventory management at job sites. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willingness to learn and engage in a comprehensive training program aimed at developing into a VMI Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and Pack VMI Orders: Actively pick and pack all VMI orders, including conduct, to support daily operations while the VMI team is out on job sites.
  • Assist with Vehicle Loading: Collaborate in loading all VMI vehicles to ensure efficient and accurate preparation for delivery.
  • On-Site Assistance (As Needed): Accompany VMI Specialists to job sites to assist with the VMI process and gain on-the-ground experience.
  • Vehicle Maintenance Support: Help maintain all VMI vehicles in a clean and organized state to ensure they are always ready for operation.
