About The Position

At Gallo, we believe your potential deserves the perfect pairing. As the largest family-owned winery in the world, we proudly craft more than 150 celebrated wine and spirits brands, including High Noon, Barefoot Wine, New Amsterdam, Pink Whitney, Orin Swift, La Marca, and Apothic. We’re committed to fostering a workplace where you can thrive, offering competitive compensation, benefits, advancement opportunities, and a healthy work-life balance that supports your well-being. We’re looking for a Rombauer Viticulture Intern who is ready to make an impact in the vineyard and beyond. In this role, you’ll help collect and analyze data from our estate and grower properties across Napa, Sonoma, Monterey, Amador, and El Dorado Counties, with a primary focus on Napa and Sonoma. You’ll work independently in the field, applying your organization and attention to detail to monitor vine health and support wine quality. Reporting directly to the Senior Viticulturist and Grower Relations Representative, you’ll scout for pests and disease, collect soil, water, and plant tissue samples, and contribute to irrigation recommendations using advanced technologies. You’ll track vine phenology, assist with harvest activities, and collaborate closely with vineyard and winemaking teams to connect data with outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include entering and analyzing data, supporting yield estimates, and occasionally operating a forklift at winery properties. This is more than an internship—it’s a chance to grow your skills in a collaborative and supportive environment where diverse perspectives are valued. Whether you’re in the vineyard, in the winery, or working alongside experts, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to crafting exceptional wines while caring for the land and the people who make it possible. Join us, and let’s create something extraordinary together.
