About The Position
The JM&A Group in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a Visualization and Reporting Analyst associate to support the Sales & Operations teams by delivering clear, accurate, and actionable reporting and data visualizations. This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making through the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical insights that keep field sales teams and leadership informed. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong interest in transforming data into meaningful business insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with data, reporting, and analytic solutions
- Strong experience building data visualizations in Power BI
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting techniques
- Working knowledge of SQL (writing and reading queries)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities and meet tight deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting sales or operational reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Experience with Power Automate
- Experience preparing executive-ready presentations or documentation in PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with Power BI Report Builder for paginated reports or SSRS
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather visualization and reporting requirements
- Analyze sales, market, and performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Power BI Data Modelers, and Analysts to build scalable and effective visualization and reporting solutions with interactive visuals that convey data insights
- Connect to various data sources, ensuring smooth data flow and extracting relevant data.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to gain an understanding of the underlying data used for the solution
- Prepare and model data as required for visualizations and reports
- Write and maintain basic queries to support reporting and data analysis needs
- Diagnose and address issues related to data modeling, and visualization rendering
- Adhere to established governance and information security practices and standards
- Learn and understand Business Unit systems and processes
- Provide training to end-users as needed
- Assist with recurring data collection and maintenance
