About The Position

The Visual Merchandising, Graphic Designer plays a key role in developing visual planning tools, store layouts, and visual merchandising directives for U.S. retail locations. This role is responsible for producing clear, accurate 2D and 3D renderings that communicate fixture placement, merchandising flow, capacity, and product presentation to support store planning, product launches, and broader merchandising initiatives. This position creates visual assets—including merchandise display renderings, mock ups, fixture diagrams, store maps, and execution guides—used to support consistent store implementation. The Visual Graphic Designer collaborates closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager and partners with cross-functional teams and HQ to ensure store layouts, visual standards, and merchandising strategies are cohesive and effectively communicated.

Requirements

  • Manages multiple projects with accuracy, strong documentation, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel as needed for store visits, floor sets, and project support.
  • 5-7 years of experience in store planning, retail design, visual merchandising graphic designer, or retail space planning

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in 3D design and CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or comparable tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience developing store layouts, fixture diagrams, planograms, or retail environment renderings preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Retail Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Produce 2D and 3D renderings of merchandise displays, fixtures, store layouts, and merchandising setups
  • Support the creation of visual merchandising mockups and directive materials that guide store execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including Merchandising, Marketing, Store Design, Store Operations, and HQ teams—to ensure alignment on store layouts and visual standards
  • Assist with store openings, remodels, pop ups, and layout refreshes to ensure consistent visual presentation across locations
  • Maintain organized CAD files, visual templates, and design documentation to support ongoing store planning and merchandising initiatives
