About The Position

The Visual Merchandise Planner: Special Projects role designs and delivers retail store floorplans that drive business goals and enhance the customer experience. This role combines creative thinking with strong spatial planning to translate concepts into clear, effective in-store layouts. You will use AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other tools to develop and maintain floor plans and visual concepts, ensuring consistency across projects while supporting both Visual Merchandising team initiatives and broader company programs.

Requirements

  • AutoCAD LT 2026 proficiency or working knowledge required.
  • 3–5 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Strong spatial visualization and 3D thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Relex Space Planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan effective store layouts and fixture placement to support the customer experience.
  • Use AutoCAD LT to create and manage floor plans, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain store profile spreadsheets and updates.
  • Present layouts to cross-functional partners and adjust based on feedback or product changes.
  • Produce Visual Directive Guides using AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Excel, and Relex for field execution.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure on-time execution.
  • Visit stores post-execution to evaluate layouts, validate customer flow, and document learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in product development and planning meetings to advocate for Visual Merchandising needs and evaluate space implications.
