About The Position

The Visual Merch Tier I position involves changing and rotating merchandise displays and signage as directed by management. Responsibilities include developing ideas for merchandise and window displays, arranging properties, furniture, and accessories, and providing direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on product placement. The role focuses on promoting all products effectively, with a special emphasis on promotional items. This is a safety-sensitive driving role.

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 20 lbs
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to work at heights and operate a scissor lift
• Positive attitude when working with customers
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years

Nice To Haves

• Experience and/or education in interior design preferred

Responsibilities

• Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion as directed by merchandisers, managers, or upper management.
• Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations.
• Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories.
• Provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on which product will go in each specific bay.
• Assist with arranging each bay to promote all products in the best way possible, specifically focusing on promotional items.
• Any other duties as directed by management.
