Garvan Woodland Gardens, a 210-acre botanical garden situated on a peninsula surrounded by scenic Lake Hamilton located in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Visitor Services Cashier. The Visitor Services Cashier will be responsible for greeting guests, checking in guests, taking funds, and balancing the point of sale system at closing. This position will also serve as a guest docent by driving golf cart tours and giving a scripted explanation of the garden spaces. This team member will be expected to work well with others and ensure a positive guest experience. Part-time, up to 32 hours a week, including weekends and nights during Holiday Lights (mid-November thru Dec 31). Visitor Services Cashier is a part-time, temporary position limited to the 1250-hour University of Arkansas policy. The campus is a non-smoking facility. This position requires a valid driver’s license. Some night and weekend work will be required seasonally. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. relationships with others.

Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
