About The Position

Organization's Summary Statement: The Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (MTech) seeks a Professional Project Manager to provide centralized program and delivery management across xFoundry’s technical and programmatic initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing work across multiple interdisciplinary teams, including the software development group led by the Director of Technology and the team responsible for building and operating the Xperience Competition and related xFoundry programs. The Project Manager will ensure that complex, multi-track initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities. This individual will serve as the operational backbone of xFoundry’s execution, translating vision into structured plans, managing dependencies, and creating clarity across stakeholders. The role requires strong experience working with technical teams, program designers, and executive leadership in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments. The A. Requirements

  • Master’s degree or have at least 3 years full-time experience as a Faculty Specialist (or similar appointment at another institution), or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project or program management
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical contributors
  • Experience working with software development teams and technical leaders
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects in dynamic environments
