About The Position

The position is 100% research intern on the management of arthropod pests and diseases, with responsibilities including: Using entomopathogenic nematodes and fungi for biocontrol of turfgrass pests; Testing host plant resistance against turfgrass pests and diseases; Evaluating the impact of bacterial toxins on insect pests and diseases infesting pecan and turfgrass and non-target effects; Assisting with pest monitoring, field efficacy trials and disease studies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in entomology or closely related field required.

Responsibilities
