The Department of Mathematics at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a two-year Visiting Lecturer beginning Fall 2026. Primary responsibilities will be instruction during the academic year. Most of the instruction will be in a diverse set of introductory courses including precalculus, finite mathematics, and calculus as well as mathematics of decision and beauty. The teaching load is six courses per academic year. The candidate hired to fill the position will join a dynamic team of faculty. Instructors are supported through course coordination and the department teaching seminar. Our faculty also benefit from department supported opportunities for camaraderie. There is daily departmental tea as well as seasonal departmental parties and picnics.
