About The Position

The School of Educational Psychology and Counselling are seeking a Lecturer (Level B) to contribute to high-quality teaching and research within the Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) area. This role focuses on delivering engaging, evidence-based education and building a program of scholarly and impactful research relevant to the ABA field. The Lecturer will design, deliver and evaluate teaching and assessment across a range of settings, fostering inclusive and student-centred learning environments supported by contemporary teaching technologies. The role includes leadership in unit and course development, team teaching, marking and feedback practices, supervision of Honours and Research Higher Degree students, and active involvement in research, professional activities and academic governance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong teaching capability and subject matter expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Ability to design, deliver and evaluate high-quality, evidence-based learning and assessment across a range of settings
  • Well-developed skills in creating inclusive, student-centred learning environments
  • Effectively utilise contemporary teaching technologies to enhance the student experience
  • Capability to lead unit and course development
  • Work collaboratively within teaching teams
  • Ensure consistent marking and constructive feedback practices
