Attain Sports owns and manages four baseball teams: the Baltimore Orioles Double-A affiliate Chesapeake Baysox, the Baltimore Orioles High-A affiliate Aberdeen IronBirds, the MLB Draft League Frederick Keys, and the Atlantic League Professional Baseball Club Spire City Ghost Hounds. Additionally, Attain Sports is an owner of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Club Loudoun United FC. The Aberdeen IronBirds are currently accepting applications for the Visiting Clubhouse Manager position for the upcoming 2026 season. This seasonal role runs from May through approximately early September, and requires availability for all home games during that time. Requirements

  • Previous professional baseball clubhouse management experience, or equivalent experience at the professional or collegiate level of another sport.
  • Dependable to work long hours dictated by the IronBirds home game event schedule.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work under pressure and in tight timelines.
  • Able to be service oriented and be available for visiting team players and coaches at all times when they are at the facility.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Providing daily laundry of all player/coaches/trainers uniforms, personals, towels, etc.
  • Picking/setting up the catering for pre-game and post-game meals for all visiting team personnel including players, coaches, etc.
  • Ensuring supplies are fully stocked daily for visiting team including snacks, water, personal hygiene, and laundry (supplies paid for by IronBirds). This will include shopping for supplies at local business(es) on a routine basis.
  • Providing a clean, comfortable clubhouse setting for the visiting teams as set forth by the IronBirds and the MLB Draft League.
  • Assist visiting team personnel with coordination of loading and unloading buses upon arrival and departure.
  • Run personal errands for players/coaches within reason.
