SAGE is seeking a passionate and organized Vision 2030 Coordinator. The Vision 2030 Coordinator plays a vital role in bringing climate education to middle school students across Portland and Multnomah County. This position focuses on organizing and facilitating impactful learning experiences through three core areas of work: Classroom Engagement Collaborate with teachers to schedule and deliver the Keystone Lesson on Climate Solutions in classrooms. The coordinator will also facilitate the lesson from time-to-time, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with Vision 2030's goals. School-Wide Events Partner with teachers and school leadership to plan and coordinate Climate Solutions Fairs. These interactive events showcase hands-on exhibits and career pathways related to climate solutions and jobs. Volunteer and Exhibitor Coordination Recruit, organize, and support volunteers and exhibitors who help deliver both the lessons and fairs. The coordinator ensures all participants are well-prepared and that events run smoothly. In addition to these responsibilities, the coordinator will manage meetings with Vision 2030's core team. These meetings serve to track progress, identify new opportunities, and address challenges collaboratively. This role offers flexibility, leadership development, and the chance to make a lasting difference. This position is a limited part-time engagement through June 2026. The position may be renewed and modified in subsequent years.
