VIP Host (Part-Time)

About The Position

Responsible for oversight and management of the VIP Lounge; including but not limited to, admission to the lounge, food quality and presentation, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lounge area.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
One (1) year of customer service experience.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Excellent communication conflict resolution skills.
Must be able to stand during entire shift with frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Nice To Haves

Food and Beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
Monitors the entrance to the VIP Lounge to ensure access is tracked.
Ensures the quality of the room and reports issues.
Provides guidance and feedback on the menu in the VIP Lounge to the Casino Marketing Manager.
Entertains guests in the VIP Lounge while building relationships in the area.
Works in collaboration with the Food and Beverage department to provide excellent service in the VIP Lounge guests and maintain the integrity of the room in regard to access.
Has the ability to extend complementary service in accordance with approved comp matrix.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
