Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
1-2 years’ experience as a personal care assistant, sitter or personal companion
First Aid/CPR Certification
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and provide proof of state minimum auto insurance
Comfort level accessing basic computer applications
MAY BE DESIGNATED ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL IN THE EVENT OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS, INCLUDING HURRICANES, EVACUATION, FIRE, FLOOD, ETC., AND BE REQUIRED TO REMAIN ON CAMPUS FOR THE DURATION OF THE EMERGENCY
Physical Requirements: may include walking for extended periods, bending & stooping, lifting and assisting residents with mobility (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)
