We exist to raise the standard of the installation industry by delivering professional, precise, and dependable vinyl installations on vehicles and surfaces of all kinds. STICK is seeking Installers to professionally install vinyl graphics in an efficient manner emphasizing precision, accuracy, and attention to detail, while adhering to the standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This is hands-on, physical work that requires pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and accountability. We don’t rush installs at the expense of quality — we do them right.

Requirements

  • 1 year of vinyl graphics installation experience.
  • Ability to assist in installing vinyl graphic wraps on vans, box trucks, and transit buses.
  • Ability to use proper tools such as squeegee, hand and power tools, razors and knives, and operation of equipment related to static inventory.
  • Ability to use basic math skills and recognize measurements on a straight ruler or yard stick.
  • Excellent hand/eye/foot coordination and attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to clients.
  • Ability to work independently or lead a team of two.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to travel out of state and work in the evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Constant standing, walking, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, balancing, heights, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and occasionally sitting, pushing, pulling, talking, and hearing. (ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds)
  • Strong visual acuity with the ability to see up close as well as far away without any form of colorblindness.
  • This role requires the ability to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and insurability to drive company vehicles.
  • Use of personal cell phones for company systems.

Responsibilities

  • When applicable, installation of large cut vinyl jobs on vans, big Sprinter vans, box trucks, transit buses, and floor and ceiling graphics.
  • Cut full wrap transit buses with straight cuts while having advanced use of a knife to precisely cut vinyl at seams, windows, hinges and door handles.
  • While working with a team you must have the ability to install large cut vinyl jobs that include all types of ads that include headliners, full sides up to 40 ft and extended sides of all types.
  • The ability to wrap vinyl around corners and bumpers of vehicles precisely meeting quality standards independently.
  • Preparation of surfaces for quality vinyl graphic installation independently.
  • Independent removal of vinyl graphics and adhesives from a variety of surfaces without causing damage to the surface.
  • Use proper heating techniques and proper use of Primer 94 to install ads while.
  • Being able to understand the different types of transit ads and buses for your assigned market as well as at least three other markets.
  • Responsible for completing the Installer checklist, completing necessary paperwork, taking photos and uploading images of completed projects while utilizing company systems.
  • Keep your work area clean and tidy by sweeping, emptying trash into dumpster, and general housekeeping
  • Ability to follow instructions from Installer Team Lead and/or Field Supervisor.
  • Maintain punctual attendance and work flexible schedules as needed.
  • Deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Supervision by Senior Field Supervisor or Field Supervisor, with minimal supervision while working off-site.
