About The Position

Create and leverage advanced simulation capabilities for testing vehicles on an advanced dynamometer system for vehicle system software/calibration development. You will use tools such as dSPACE/NI HIL Systems, Tracetronics ECUTest, ATI Vision, IPG CarMaker, etc. in an integrated system testing platform. Program, configure, and update simulation test equipment to enable new and emerging feature-level testing. Develop advance scenarios and test cases in tools like dSPACE ASM and IPG Carmaker in order to emulate realistic driving conditions, roadways, test drives, and interactions with other traffic and pedestrians. Design and develop automation test strategies that leverage Ford's toolchains as well as write test automation scripts to streamline the calibration and verification and validation process. Create intelligent post-processing tools that allow users to quickly check test validity as well as deep-dive into test results to better understand where changes are required in an efficient software driven process.
