About The Position

Why We Need Your Talents: Food Preparation & Cleaning: Washing, slicing, dicing, and marinating vegetables, meats, and seafood for specialized vietnamese dishes. Assures that guests have a favorable dining experience

Requirements

Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances.
Ability to read and write basic instructions.
Knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Ability to be creative.
Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
Ability to communicate in English and fluently in either Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese & other Asian language.
A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
One (1) year kitchen experience in a fast paced casual full service Asian restaurant or establishment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying food product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift, carry, deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
Ability to work around 500 degree ovens and work within 40 degree walk-in refrigerators.
Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10 hr. shift.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparation of all raw and cooked foods for line cooks as needed.
Responsible for cleaning and cutting garnishes for menu and line cooks.
Responsible for cleaning and cutting garnishes for menu and line cooks.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and guest.
Monitor and adjust performance to local competition.
Other duties as assigned.
