Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) year of restaurant experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
- Ability to: Use cash register systems.
- Ability to: Read and follow basic instructions.
- Ability to: Use a telephone; hear and speak clearly.
- Knowledge of: Alcohol awareness.
- Knowledge of: Sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
- Strong work ethic.
- High energy.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math and computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating cash register to cash out guests.
- Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
- Responsible for assisting with bussing and cleaning tables.
- Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
- Work to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Verify the accuracy of all orders before they leave the counter or kitchen, ensuring items match the ticket, modifications are correct, and adjustments are made when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
