About The Position

Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The End-to-End (E2E) Center and Planning teams are responsible for planning and monitoring our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiency allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers. System Reliability - Ensure availability of delivery and supply - Pressure, purity, special volume requirements, system flexibility System Optimization - Monitor production assets to ensure efficient operation - Optimize networks for the better of the whole and ensuring customer demand is achieved at the lowest total landed cost (TLC) Effective Communication - Daily operational interface with customers - Clearinghouse for information and activity between customer and supply The VIE will support the broader mission of the E2E Center through data analysis and strategic process improvement. Their ultimate goal is to help implement data-driven solutions that improve our understanding of customer behavior, optimize operational efficiency, and empower thoughtful business decisions. Specifically, the VIE will help ensure the successful completion of LI NAM's 2025/2026 initiatives by.. - Deploy successful processes in support of E2E crisis response requirements. Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to properly documenting the protocols. - Contribute to the definition of the implentation plan for the E2E Center gap assessment. Actively participate in the close out of gaps. - Actively particpate in the transition of ALTACs screens to PI Vision to ensure a successful Geo-SCADA deployment. - Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve work process for the change management of ALTACS retirement and the org conversion to PI from ALTACs Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial)
  • Ability to accurately manage and analyze large quantities of data
  • Demonstrated project planning and management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution/outcome oriented in an environment with limited oversight
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to tackle more open ended/less focused problems
  • English fluency is must have
  • Position open only for candidates eligible to the VIE program. Therefore, only the applicants meeting the requirements of the French V.I.E program will be taken into consideration.
  • The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with at least one coding language a plus (Python, R, SQL)
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools a plus (PowerBI, PI Vision, etc)
