About The Position

We’re looking for a Videographer/Editor to bring our clients’ stories to life through compelling, high-performance video content. This role is responsible for the end-to-end production process—from being behind the camera on-set to the final export in the edit suite. You will work across a diverse portfolio of brands, including Brio, Closet World, and Closets by Design, creating everything from polished product installation guides to high-energy social media assets. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who understands how to balance cinematic quality with the fast-paced requirements of performance marketing and paid media.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in professional video production and editing, ideally within an agency or in-house brand environment.
  • Technical Mastery: Proficient with professional camera systems (Sony, Canon, or Red), lighting kits, and audio equipment.
  • Post-Production Expert: Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Social-First Mindset: Proven experience creating short-form vertical content (9:16) that captures attention within the first three seconds.
  • Portfolio: A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating your ability to shoot and edit diverse content, with a focus on product-centric storytelling.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Location: Comfortable working onsite and in the field, based out of our Glendale, CA office.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color grading is a plus.
  • Experience in DTC retail or home improvement industries.
  • Skills in motion graphics and 2D animation to enhance social ad creative.
  • Experience with AI-assisted video tools (e.g., Topaz, Runway, or Adobe Firefly) to optimize workflows.
  • Basic knowledge of photography to capture still assets during video shoots.
  • Understanding of A/B testing in video creative—knowing what visual hooks lead to better performance.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Production: Lead the technical execution of video projects, including lighting, audio recording, cinematography, and post-production editing.
  • Brand Storytelling: Shoot and edit a variety of content types, including product highlight videos, detailed installation guides, and customer testimonials.
  • Performance Creative: Create high-impact video assets specifically designed for paid media (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and organic social channels to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Narrative Crafting: Take raw footage and conceptual briefs to craft a cohesive story that aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to storyboard concepts and ensure all video content meets strategic goals.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and organize raw footage libraries and project files, ensuring a streamlined workflow for multi-brand delivery.
