About The Position

A WPS Videographer Editor has the imagination, talent, and skills to capture our vision and energy in beautifully crafted visual journalism. You must create meaningful content that portrays our company, our mission, our brands, and our lifestyle in cutting-edge film imagery. This is a highly diverse role, encompassing all facets of creative direction and ideation, design, animation, and strong project leadership. Work assignments encompass all ranges of videography and editing, including in-studio product education edits, product presentation videos, documentary and interview-style projects, and exciting live-action brand hype videos. This is a full-circle role with plenty of room to grow within the ever-expanding and exciting world of power sports.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing manager and creative team members to execute video solutions for marketing needs.
  • Actively participate in creative discourse with the marketing team to develop effective marketing and advertising solutions.
  • Capture high-quality video footage in the studio or on location.
  • Setting up lighting, sound equipment, and cameras for various scenes or events.
  • Edit and color correct raw footage into highly polished, engaging content that promotes WPS brands and their products. Examples include television commercials, brand hype/lifestyle videos, conference presentations, social media, and product demonstrations.
  • Apply audio mixing to enhance footage, which may include sourcing music, sound effects, and voice-overs.
  • Design and animate motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Implement storytelling techniques to enhance the emotional impact and narrative flow of the content.
  • Maintain creative consistency across verticals, ensuring all projects align with the brand strategy and creative vision.
  • Responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of video production projects.
  • Develop and plan storyboards, shot lists, and scripts.
  • Schedule talent and models, acquire featured products, book film locations, and coordinate logistics for required equipment.
  • Communicate with outside vendors to meet production timelines and job parameters.
  • Maintain upkeep and safeguard all assigned company-owned equipment.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, tools, and trends.
  • Create archives and databases of proprietary video and film assets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing manager to establish and manage workload and event schedules.
  • Travel as needed to industry events and coordinate all logistics for required equipment.
  • Travel is required and must be flexible and willing to work extended and weekend hours when necessary.
