About The Position

Job Summary This is a high-impact, technical role for a video and motion professional who takes pride in the craft of visual storytelling. You will be a driving force for ITW Welding's family of brands, primarily Miller and Hobart, turning brand strategies and creative briefs into authentic, genuine video content that honors our nearly 100-year legacy. You will bridge the gap between the gritty reality of the shop floor and the high-stakes precision of the corporate boardroom. You will be responsible for capturing our distinct brand voices with the same honesty found in the work itself, creating content that speaks with equal authority to the welding fabricator at the bench, the leaders in the boardroom, and the distribution partners who rely on our brand reputation to drive their sales. You are a "master of the craft" and hands-on creative partner who advises and influences the vision while executing the work with technical precision.

Nice To Haves

  • A formal degree in Film, Cinematography, Visual Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required with a proven track record of impactful work.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a creative partner to internal marketing teams and external agencies to help define and refine the look and feel of our brands.
  • Audit and maintain our internal equipment identifying the glass, bodies, and lighting needed to meet the cinematic standards of a world-class brand.
  • Navigate complex industrial environments: utilizing professional lighting techniques to manage high-heat, high-scale manufacturing spaces with precision.
  • Translate strategic briefs into visual frameworks that keep our motion output steadfast, premium, and scalable.
  • End-to-End Production Own the process from the first frame to the final export, moving seamlessly from high-heat industrial environments to the edit suite.
  • Execute expert-level color grading, pacing, and sound design to ensure every narrative is clear and every delivery is professional.
  • Balance "A-List" flagship productions with the development of high-quality templates for efficient, quick-turn projects.
  • Build and maintain a highly organized post-production system: ensuring technical consistency, file management (DAM), and scalable delivery workflows.
  • Collaborative Partnership ·You must be as comfortable managing a solo shoot as you are collaborating on a two-camera set or dividing post-production tasks.
  • Act as a collaborative peer to our existing motion team members, providing mutual creative "pressure-testing" to ensure every frame meets the Miller standard.
  • You must be comfortable working in the heat and sparks to catch the authentic moments that cannot be faked.
  • Provide technical expertise and creative feedback to partner divisions, ensuring all work, internal or agency-led, lives up to our brand promises.
