We’re looking for a Video Editor & Motion Designer who can help bring creative concepts to life through strong editing and motion design. You will take projects from raw footage to polished, platform-ready creative, working across social and digital channels. This role is ideal for someone who is fast, detail-oriented, and highly organized, and who is comfortable working with large volumes of footage and multiple deliverables. You will collaborate closely with a team of copywriters, designers, and fellow editors to produce content that is on-brand, optimized for each platform, and delivered efficiently.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion design (agency, in-house, freelance, or equivalent).
  • You are confident in: Adobe Premiere Pro (required) Adobe After Effects (required)
  • You are comfortable working with large volumes of footage and can efficiently find the best moments to support the story.
  • You are highly organized and build project files that are easy to collaborate in.
  • You have a strong understanding of what makes social video perform and can deliver edits that feel polished, modern, and engaging.
  • You have strong working knowledge of social media specs, safe zones, and resizing workflows, and you proactively ensure assets are platform-ready.
  • You have solid motion fundamentals including timing, easing, composition, and clean design instincts.
  • You can create MOGRTs and template-based workflows (a plus), enabling production to move more efficiently.
  • You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others, and respond well to feedback.
  • You are comfortable working with deadlines and handling multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LucidLink or cloud-based media workflows
  • Familiarity with frame.io and Asana or structured review workflows and project management systems
  • Basic sound design or audio mixing
  • Working knowledge of color grading tools (Lumetri, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Understanding of performance marketing creative, especially pacing and hooks

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form video and animate motion content for social, digital, web and marketing campaigns (paid social ads, organic content, brand videos, explainers, testimonials).
  • Manage and organize large amounts of footage (b-roll libraries, interviews, screen recordings) using clean and scalable workflows.
  • Create motion graphics and animations in After Effects, including titles, lower thirds, transitions, typography, and UI-style animations.
  • Support template-based workflows and help build reusable systems, including MOGRTs (a plus).
  • Adapt and resize content for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc), ensuring: Proper safe zones Correct formatting across aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) Platform-specific specs, captions, and overlays
  • Maintain strong audio quality, including dialogue clean-up and basic mixing when needed.
  • Apply basic color correction and ensure consistent visual quality across deliverables.
  • Follow file management and delivery best practices (naming conventions, version control, exports, and archiving).
  • Work within shared storage environments; LucidLink experience is a plus.
  • Contribute to team production workflows and help improve processes as output scales, preferably leveraging AI tools & workflows
