Work closely with the Director of Creative Services to forecast video needs, assess feasibility and prioritize work. Work in conjunction with the Producer and Sr. Videographer and Editor to accomplish larger initiatives Handle setup, operation, or technical assistance for internal video productions and broadcast tagging, including video editing Focus on details while keeping an eye on the big picture. Anticipate and resolve conflict diplomatically. Understand Broadcast Standards and Industry protocol. Shoot all in-house footage for internal video projects. Organize and archive video footage in a timely and detailed manner Produce and master broadcast radio spots both in-house and with vendor partners High level of initiative and flexibility Exercise good judgment with client and agency budgets. Adapt campaign assets (retouching, logo and artwork preparation, illustrating, coloring, and grading) Video Editing and Motion graphic production (incl. organizing comps, compositing, constructing animated loops, and rendering) This is a full-time paid internship that will run through summer 2026. This position is for candidates interested in working in the West Des Moines office (with flexibility to work remote at times) only please.

Requirements

  • Attendance from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in Videography or other related field.
  • Eager to learn mentality and strong team player.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail; demonstrates commitment to follow-through.
  • Proven ability to communicate marketing strategies and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects according to deadline.
  • Requires strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong supporter of SA’s desired culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience preferred, but not required.
