Video Production Intern (College-level)
About The Position
Hiwin Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages. We are currently seeking a highly capable Video Production Intern to join our fast-paced, diverse, and safety-centric team for a summer internship. We are looking for someone who will lead the execution of professional-grade video content supporting national marketing initiatives. Why pursue a Video Production Internship at Hiwin? A Video Production internship is highly valuable for gaining hands-on, practical experience in a professional setting. It is for someone who is interested in marketing, communications, or digital media. It bridges classroom learning with real-world application, offering opportunities to work with mentors, build a professional network, and boost resume qualifications. This is not a shadowing role; the selected intern will be responsible for independently planning, producing, and delivering polished video assets used in external marketing campaigns, trade show environments, digital advertising, and internal sales training. And, there is also the potential of transitioning to a full-time marketing or media production role at Hiwin after graduation!
Requirements
- This is an internship position…high school and college students are encouraged to apply
- Sophomore or higher-level college student pursuing a degree in: Film & Media Production Digital Media Multimedia Design Marketing (with strong production background)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Summer break, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Develop video concepts aligned with product launches, advertising campaigns, and trade show strategy
- Lead on-site video shoots including lighting, framing, audio capture, and directing internal stakeholders
- Produce high-quality product demos, application videos, customer-facing marketing pieces, and internal training content
- Create motion graphics, animated text overlays, and branded intro/outro sequences
- Execute professional color grading and audio balancing
- Build and maintain an organized digital video asset management system
