About The Position

The Video Production intern will assist the video team by performing low level tasks that assist in the current productions (primarily The Creators kid program). Tasks include running production errands for the crew and onscreen talent, purchasing/building props & costume items, assisting in loading and unloading video gear at shoots, and other tasks as needed. This intern will learn from being on set with the entire video crew and will experience filming firsthand. The successful candidate should be reliable, flexible, have a strong work ethic, humility, and a desire to be in the video production business. The 9-week program runs from May 30 through July 28, 2023. Interns help set their weekly schedule in the interview process for the 9-week program (up to 24 hours/week). There may be opportunity to work past July 28th for specific projects if interns have the availability.

Responsibilities

• Be available to help in any assigned role on the crew (costumes, props, etc)
• Run errands when needed on set (buys drinks, snacks, ice, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc)
• Help organize the props, costumes for the shoot for each day, or prepare for the next day
• Help assist the video crew in loading and unloading from each location.
• Report to Lindsey McNally for day-to-day tasks.
• Be a self-motivated team player.
• Communicate with your supervisor about your schedule.
• Preset family vacations and obligations are to be recognized when applicant is accepted into the program.
• Sick days are available but are unpaid and should be limited.
• Hours will be determined based on your schedule and approved by your manager, but will be set for the duration of the internship.
