About The Position

Team Liquid Philippines is seeking a results-oriented Video Editor with a passion for gaming, entertainment, and strategic growth. This role involves reviewing content across various platforms to ensure it aligns with the brand voice, editorial standards, and effectively engages the target audience. Reporting to the Head of Brand, Marketing, and Content, the Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative team to conceptualize and execute engaging content projects. The primary responsibility is to produce high-quality video content for Team Liquid Philippines, which includes editing, enhancing, and assembling raw footage into compelling stories that resonate with the esports and gaming community and align with brand goals. This position also contributes to the Brand, Marketing & Content (BMC) department by editing scripts, social media copy, marketing materials, and multimedia content to ensure consistency, clarity, and brand alignment across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in the esports, gaming, or digital content industries.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, and color correction is a plus.
  • Familiarity with esports culture and trends is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with editorial planning tools and content management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand guidelines.
  • Enhance video quality using advanced editing techniques, sound design, and colour grading.
  • Work alongside the creative team to conceptualize and execute engaging video projects.
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve storytelling, visuals, and overall production quality.
  • Tailor content for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and live streaming platforms, ensuring optimized formats and specifications.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to gather insights into project requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with designers, animators, and other creatives to integrate visual elements seamlessly into video projects.
  • Maintain an organized workflow by properly managing video assets, project files, and archives.
  • Stay informed about trends in gaming, esports, and youth culture to help ensure content remains relevant and relatable with brand guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain editorial calendars and version control of materials.
  • Ensure all content meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and audience engagement.
