About The Position

True Classic is looking for a highly skilled Video Editor & Producer to join our in-house creative team. This hybrid role combines expert-level editing with hands-on production support. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills across editing, lighting, sound, and production workflows, along with the organizational chops to manage assets and deliver polished, high-performing creative. Note: This is an onsite role, based at our Calabasas, CA headquarters, 5x per week.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience—ideally within DTC, e-commerce, or agency environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Deep understanding of lighting, audio, and video production workflows.
  • Strong visual and editorial judgment, with an eye for pacing and story.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset—comfortable switching between independent execution and team production.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full post-production process—editing, color correction, sound mixing, and final delivery.
  • Maintain organized media libraries, manage file systems, and streamline post workflows.
  • Develop and apply motion graphic assets to elevate storytelling.
  • Select and sync music, sound design, and voiceovers that enhance emotional impact.
  • Ideate and execute original video concepts aligned with campaign and brand strategies.
  • Manage small-scale shoots: lighting, audio, camera setup, and on-set coordination.
  • Partner with the creative, marketing, and product teams to deliver content on time and within scope.
  • Support on-set producing, logistics, and production needs as required.
